Fear: Fear is a basic human emotion that is triggered by a perceived threat or danger. It is a natural and adaptive response that helps us to avoid harm. While fear is a response to an immediate threat, activating the fight-or-flight response, anxiety, on the other hand, involves anticipation of future threats and is more diffuse.
