Reinforcement: Reinforcement in psychology is a methodological assuumption in behaviorism used to increase the likelihood of a behavior being repeated. It involves providing a stimulus after a desired behavior. Positive reinforcement adds a rewarding stimulus, while negative reinforcement removes an unpleasant stimulus.
