Messianism: Messianism is the belief in a messiah - a savior or liberator - who will bring redemption, justice, or a new era. Rooted in Jewish tradition, it also appears in Christianity (with Jesus as the Messiah) and other religions. Messianism often combines spiritual hope with political or social transformation.
