David Wiggins (1933-2017), English moral philosopher, metaphysician, and philosophical logician. His major works include Sameness and Substance (1980), Needs, Values, Truth (1987), and Ethics: Twelve Lectures on the Philosophy of Morality (1993). His fields of specialization were moral philosophy, metaphysics, and philosophical logic.
