Yuichi Shoda (1958), Japanese-American psychologist and Professor of Psychology at the University of Washington. His major works include Introduction to Personality: Toward an Integrative Science of the Person, Individuality and Psychopathology: Toward a Developmental Perspective, and Personality Development in Childhood and Adolescence (co-edited with Nancy Eisenberg). His fields of specialization are personality psychology, personality development, emotion regulation, self-control, and cognitive-affective personality system theory.
