His major works include Obedience to Authority: An Experimental View (1963), Language, Thought, and Reality: Selected Essays (1973), and The Individual in a Social World: Essays on Social Psychology (1977). His fields of specialization were obedience, authority, social psychology, conformity, and ethics of research.
