Bernulf Kanitscheider (1939-2017), German philosopher and scientist. His major works include Geometrie und Wirklichkeit (1970), Philosophie und moderne Physik (1976), and Materie, Leben, Geist: zum Problem der Reduktion der Wissenschaften (1979). His fields of specialization were natural philosophy, cosmology, philosophy of life, and ethics.
