His major works include Experimental and Quasi-Experimental Designs for Research (1957), Quasi-Experimentation: Design and Analysis Issues for Field Settings (1966), and Evolutionary Epistemology (1974). His fields of specialization were social psychology, methodology, evolutionary epistemology, creativity and scientific inquiry.
