Ned Block (1942), American philosopher. His major works include Psychologism and Behaviorism (1981), On the Nature of Consciousness (1995), and Phenomenal Consciousness (2000). His fields of specialization are nature of consciousness, the relationship between mind and body, and the philosophy of cognitive science.
