Original Sin - Economics Dictionary of Arguments
Original sin: The original sin is a Christian doctrine that holds that humans, through the fact of birth, inherit a tainted nature with a proclivity to sinful conduct in need of regeneration. The biblical basis for the belief is generally found in Genesis 3, in a line in Psalm 515, and in Paul's Epistle to the Romans, 512-21. See also Christianity, Religion, Religious belief._____________Annotation: The above characterizations of concepts are neither definitions nor exhausting presentations of problems related to them. Instead, they are intended to give a short introduction to the contributions below. – Lexicon of Arguments.
