I-You-Relationship - Economics Dictionary of Arguments
I-You relationship: The I-You relationship is a philosophical concept developed by Martin Buber. It is a relationship of mutuality, directness, presentness, intensity, and ineffability. In it, we encounter the other person as a whole being. We see the other person as a subject, not an object. See also Dialogue, Communication, Person, Subjects, Autonomy._____________Annotation: The above characterizations of concepts are neither definitions nor exhausting presentations of problems related to them. Instead, they are intended to give a short introduction to the contributions below. – Lexicon of Arguments.
