| Carl Shapiro: Carl Shapiro is an American economist and professor at the University of California, Berkeley, specifically at the Haas School of Business. He is also known for co-authoring the book Information Rules: A Strategic Guide to the Network Economy. Shapiro served as a member of the President's Council of Economic Advisers from 2011 to 2012.
