| Richard L. Sandor: Richard L. Sandor is an American economist and entrepreneur known as the "father of financial futures" for pioneering interest rate futures in the 1970s. He founded the Chicago Climate Exchange, the first platform for trading greenhouse gas emissions, earning him the title "father of carbon trading." He currently chairs Environmental Financial Products and lectures at the University of Chicago Law School.
