Definition: determination of the use of linguistic signs (words, symbols, connectives) for non-linguistic or linguistic objects. New definitions are not supposed to be creative, that is, they are to be derived from the use of the signs already employed. Solution: a lot of facts can contain a different set of facts without there being a clear definition of the terms for the second set in terms of the first set.
Logical supervenience is not affected by this.
