Corine Pelluchon on Existence - Dictionary of Arguments

Existence/Life/Pelluchon: A philosophy (...) that asks what we live on, reveals the transitivity of life, which is oriented towards the other and the relational character of our existence, which consists of and in relationships: life in this sense means "living from" and "living with", i.e. as soon as you eat something or occupy a space, you have an effect on others, on human as well as non-human other living beings.
Philosophy of Freedom: This kind of thinking closes the gap in the philosophies of freedom, which, by relying on an atomistic and disembodied conception of the subject, have turned nature into an embattled stage of history and humans as the rulers into an empire within an empire, without ever being able to place ecology and animal existence at the center of politics. >Ecology/Pelluchon
, >Deep Ecology/Pelluchon.
