Sugar Trail Example: John Perry's thought experiment (J. Perry, The Problem of the Essential Indexical, 1979, Nous 13(1)3-21.). Perry wants to inform a supermarket customer, that he leaves a sugar trail behind him with his shopping car. After a tour through the market, he realizes that he himself is this customer.
