|Truth tables, logic, philosophy: Truth value tables or truth tables are tools for the characterization of logical links or the evaluation of logical statements that contain these links. In the simplest case, the links "and" and "or" are examined for two atomic partial statements a and b to be linked. For a and b, the possible truth values, in the divalent case therefore "true" and "false”, are used.
