McDowell I 199/200 Color/Evans: something that has a color is not yet a pattern of the shade, which makes sure that everything that belongs to the extension of the shade is that which cannot be distinguished from it. Problem: intermediates can be found which are not distinguishable from each other, but from the original piece. Thus the subject lost the original concept without having noticed!
