Recognition / Ryle: (according to Rorty): these problems are either a) "conceptual" questions about the sufficient conditions of normal use of expressions such as "recognition"
or b) Questions about physiological mechanisms that raise no recourse problems because no one will be of the opinion that stability requires "abstract mechanisms" for tuning forks or photoelectric cells.
