Leszek Kolakowski on Lenin - Dictionary of Arguments
Brocker I 44
Lenin/Kolakowski/Scherrer: Kolakowski claimed that Lenin never gave up his party theory and that his idea of the "party hegemony" on the "path of a natural development" depended on the idea of the "leading role of the party".
Brocker I 45
"The party, which "has the 'right' theoretical consciousness", grew into a "despotic system of rule" in which the party always knows better than society what its interests and needs are (Kolakowski 1978, 437-439). (1)
