In the course of coordinating employees, Williams wrote a simple program that allowed employees to post text messages with new posts in a central location to help others understand the current state of development. This software, as simple as it was, quickly became more successful than the management software Pyra was looking for. It provides software for the operation of weblogs and led to the foundation of Blogger.com.
