Epicurus on Spirit - Dictionary of Arguments

Adorno XIII, 217/18
Spirit/Reality/Epicurus/Adorno: the spirit is - as it is explicitly stated in Epicurus - unnecessary in the things. The atoms, however, are real and not purely mathematical determinations.
>Atoms/Epicurus
, cf. >Animism.
XIII 220/221
Atheism/Epicurus/Adorno: yet Epicurus is not an atheist, or in any case his explicit doctrine does not deny the gods. >Religious belief/Epicurus, >Religious belief/Ancient philosophy.
