Logical connectives/statement linkings/Tarski: linkings are not defined in the system of logic by "true" and "false" (truth tables), but by using other connectives or they are undefined.
E.g.
(p v q) iff. (~ p > q).

Conditional: the conditional is no statement linking.
Instead:
Equivalence: equivalence is a linking of statements.(1)
