Gadamer I 249 Time-Consciousness/Husserl/Gadamer: Every experience has implied horizons of before and after and ultimately merges with the continuum of the experiences present in the before and after to form the unity of the stream of experience. Husserl's research on the constitution of time consciousness grew out of the necessity to grasp the mode of being of this stream and thus to include subjectivity in intentional correlation research. From now on, all remaining phenomenological research is to be understood as the study of the constitution of units of time consciousness and in time consciousness, which in turn already presuppose the constitution of time consciousness itself. Experience/Stream of Consciousness/Stream of Experience/Husserl: This makes it clear that the detail of the experience - as much as it retains its methodological significance as an intentional correlate of a constituted meaning - is not a final phenomenological date. Every such intentional experience rather always implies a two-sided empty horizon of such, which is not actually meant in it, but to which a current meaning (to mean) can be directed at any time, and in the end it is evident that the unity of the stream of experience encloses the whole of all such experiences that can be made a topic. >Stream of consciousness/Husserl.
