Psychodynamics/Psychological theories/Upton: Proponents of the psychodynamic perspective believe that behaviour is motivated by inner forces, memories and conflicts, of which a person has little awareness or control. These inner forces usually result from childhood experiences and continue to influence behaviour across the lifespan.
