Brocker I 100 Action/Pareto: The distinction between "logical" and "non-logical action" forms the conceptual differentiation of the trattato (1). Def logical action: For Pareto, action is logical when, from the point of view of a third observer, there is an empirically provable logical correspondence between purpose and choice of means(2); Def non-logical action: non-logical action on the other hand is when such a correlation cannot be proven.
