a positive content. Rather, it paves the way for nihilism, which for Camus was one of the essential forms of revolt in the 19th century. But the romantic revolt will not break its chains. In The Brothers Karamazov Dostoevsky propagates the radical nihilistic slogan that everything is allowed.
