Adorno XIII 154
Rationalism/Pascal/Adorno: the rationalist thinkers are all characterized by the fact that in them moments of enlightenment connect with a certain traditionalistic attitude towards theology. The most extreme paradoxical increase of this constellation of rationalism and theology is, at the deepest of all rationalist thinkers, at the same time unity and irreconcilable opposition; it is dialectically seen in Blaise Pascal.
>Theology.
