Actions/Marr/Vaina: differential equations are used to describe the movements of the cylinder models. These are applied individually to the movements of the body parts. (See also Vaina & Bennour, 1985)(4).
Problem: the cognitive apparatus is not designed for Newtonian forces. Yet:
