LeibnizVsNominalism: a genus has not only nominal status: there must be something real common to all individuals assigned to this genus.
Holz: thus Leibniz has moved away from the empiricist nominalist attitude.
If the general (general concepts) were nothing else than a collection of particulars, a science would not be possible by evidence.
