Theory/Campbell: no tests (experiments) can be derived from the main clauses of a theory - theories are locked against each other.
There are two layers of clauses:
1) hypotheses: about a compilation of ideas that characterize the theory.

2) "Dictionary": statements about the relationship between these ideas and others.
