Order/Hume: for allowing a system it is not enough to associate the ideas; the perceptions need to be recognized as separate from the mind first, i.e. the principles of association are not sufficient.

Unity/order/principles/Hume: in order to display the unity of the subject - which breaks down into as many tracks as there are principles. These principles must be strictly hierarchical, non-equivalent or having the same effect. The supreme principle is the emotion.
