Content/Kripke/Stalnaker: Kripke's thesis is that the content of speech acts and mental attitudes can be seen as a function of certain individual things and types with which speakers interact.
No matter what metaphysics you represent, you will agree that content and reference are determined by facts, in a way that is contextual. This is influenced by general beliefs, purposes and assumptions.
