Truth/Horwich: truth is mind-dependent: if equal to the method of verification.

It is independent of consciousness if truth is a simple, unanalyzable term.

If truth is a basic concept, it is metaphysical. Then skepticism follows, because we cannot assume that the propositions which we believe in, do have this property.
